The Echo Heart Centre was set up in December 2014 by Dr. Avin Calcutteea, a highly specialised Cardiac Clinical Scientist and Medical Physicist. The Centre offers specialised Heart Screening services compliant to international norms and comparable to the level of service offered at reputable hospitals in the United Kingdom.
With our modern and specialised heart diagnostic services, we can detect about 95% of all types of cardiac diseases, including blocked arteries (heart and brain) as well as determining their underlying causes and planning treatment strategies. We also follow patients after heart surgery or angioplasty and provide them with the best care possible.
Our mission is to beat heart disease through early identification of cardiac pathologies in a patient, with a view to mitigate the risk of heart attack or stroke in the future. The centre is committed to excellence in Heart Screening services and its application to patient care through education, advocacy, research, innovation and excellent service to the public.
